Elizabeth, from Soundlincs, showed us lots of different instruments on the first week and we explored the sounds they made and found out how to use them.

On the second week, we got to play with more unusual instruments like the Vibratone, Bell Tree, Chime Bar and Mandolin!

This week, Elizabeth has been teaching the children about rhythm. They sang songs to a beat, and played the shaker eggs, bells, and tapping sticks fast and slow. They had to listen carefully to the instructions to know when to go fast, slow and stop! Then the children had a go at playing the large and small gathering drums. They had to go slowly on the big drum and fast on the little drum!

Over the next few weeks, we will be having more music sessions with Elizabeth. We can't wait to see what's next!
