Some of our parents, very kindly, helped us to walk to the church. We went through the park and got very excited when we could see the top of the spire over the houses! When we got inside, we had a look around at all of the beautiful objects, stained glass windows, patterned ceilings, old bricks and steps. We saw the font and went down to the crypt, where we saw a huge treasure chest! We were very lucky to hear the organ being played while we were in the church, and some of us had a go on the piano! Father Stuart came to meet us and spoke about all the things we had seen and told us some facts about the church before we left. Then we walked along the river on our way back to nursery and saw some ducks and their ducklings! What a busy day!
