Some of the children dressed up as well known book characters and brought in their favourite stories from home! We had lots of story themed activities available including creating headbands for Goldilocks and the Three Bears, making book marks and collages of our favourite stories, role playing in the Three Bears House, reading stories and exploring story sacks. At group time, the children talked about the books they had brought from home, they told the group what their story was about and why they liked it.

"Books have pages and you can find your things you like the bestest!" 

"There's loads of stuff in my book! I dressed up as a fairy 'cos there's a fairy in the Magic Faraway Tree!"

"My mummy and daddy read to me all night long!"
